freinds and dancing in second life......this club was located very close to my library and I used to fire myself through thier roof from my human cannonball.....it took days to line the shot up perfectly....alas just like most things in sl this club no longer graces the snowy realm of kuhrang but I will always have fond memories dancing into the wee hours with my friends and neighbors to great indie and punk songs......of course this song is mine.....I produced this song sometime in early 2000 as part of a collection called "loving you" I was producing songs then with a very inexpensive program called e-jay it was great for programming beats and it recorded well so it doubled as a 16 track recorder.....it was around this time I realised that computers had made every recorder i had spent so much money and effort to obtain pretty much obsolete. I filmed the opening sequences on a rainy night while driving my grandmother's truck....the house is actually my house and at that time i was living in the attic which is very visable in the lightning strike just before the music starts......the theme of the video seems to reflect my struggle with gender identity and my second life as an outlet for this stress. Of course what I wanted to be a nice 'plug' video for the club just HAD to be turned into some kind of weird expression of my own.....what can i say? at least I'm consistanty artistic lol........ the song playing on my cd player in the opening is "fat man" by southern death cult......i love that song.....they are worth cheaking out....awesome band.
