The new version is great but imo this one is equally as good if not better (it's better :P).

Steve Vai is now Phrasing more his song and building a new style, he said in interviews that he wants to create what was never heard before on the guitar.

IMO Whispering a Prayer is the most magical song EVER.

Steve Vai is a master, there is no words to describe his creativity.

PS: I liked the violins also, it was very classy and added a new perspective to the song ^^

Well it's all a matter of opinion in the end... In my opinion I didn't really like the violins in the new one and I felt the song was slower :/

@OstropoloS tracks 19-40 on elusive light and sound vol. 1 was actually the score from the movie PCU from the early 90's. steve did all the music for the movie
