What a beautiful and significant moment in our Church's history! I shouted "Jesus!" when I saw the Pope kiss Francisco's foot. That was just totally unexpected. I was in awe. Then I realised that the Pope saw Jesus in Francisco. Then I remembered that Jesus himself washed the dirty feet of his disciples. Jesus was the King of all Kings, but he humbled himself so low that he washed his disciples' feet. That is pure love and selflessness. This Pope was like Jesus at that moment. How awesome!

According to the bible itself most of the teachings of Jesus aren't in there. What is in there are his sermons to the people at large but the bible says he spoke to them in parables but gave the true teachings to his apostles in private. We have virtually none of what he taught in private. Those teachings went to the Gnostics.

Pink77w1 - if the bible is the untampered word of god and each man lives only once then no, there is no one else that should be teaching you but only acquainting you with the bible. If it is NOT the unadulterated Word of God, ( and there is overwhelming evidence that it has been added to, subtracted from, changed and mistranslated) then, of course there will be those who want to be in charge of interpreting it do you. But then why listen?

Do not be obsessed with the dogma of different churches or religions. But value those things you KNOW are of God: Truth, justice, Harmony, Service, Mercy,...

These are the qualities that have a universal and intrinsic value. These are those qualities that will make you vibrate in harmony with God and heaven and magnetize you and draw you home. Dogma is simply an imposed system of questionable beliefs not the transformation of who you are.

@PInk77W1 As for you saying nobody other than Roman Catholics are saved, that's ridiculous. As for me saying that if a person does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ... that is not of me but from the Gospel. Jesus comes in with power in a person, unless a person is REALLY born again from the Spirit, they are self deceived living in fear. Period. We are called to be bold until we receive it, most never know who the Spirit is, they love religion ignoring God.

@PInk77W1 Jesus sure started it, but man has corrupted it, Jesus never chose ONE Pope for all the church, each region had a pope, they centralized power creating a ranking/respect system that the higher ranked you are the more honor you received, this is what the Nicolatians did that Jesus says HE hates. The point is this, people do not rely on Jesus to give them His Spirit. They assume they have it from the get go, the SPIRIT OF JESUS is just that, the SPIRIT OF JESUS, alive LIVING

@PInk77W1 Jesus is the Truth, ask yourself: "On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you." HAS that happened to you? Do you want it to? Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. "He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him." HAS this happened to you? The Holy Spirit is you and Jesus becoming ONE on earth, as it says in Ephesians 2:14 STUDY that and be honest and not afraid.

@JesusgavemeHolySpiri Matthew 10:27 "What I whisper in your ear, shout from the housetops for all to hear." Luke 10:8 "“When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is set before you. 9Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God is near you.’" YOU tell me that only in a church one can teach? JESUS said GO OUT and make disciples, go reach the LOST, the LOST don't go to church, but you know that already, who are you arguing with? Why? What's unclear?
