All I can say that living closer to nature is not as much fun as some would like us to believe. It was a very, very tough life for our ancestors. Just watch the movie "The Beach" from 2000, and you will understand. There is so much hypocrisy in all this New Age "living in communion with nature" utopia...

I would argue that psychiatry is a tool of the system, it is psychiatries job to tell the patient that he/she is the problem. That they have poor coping skills, a personality disorder, a mood disorder or whatever.
All of those conditions raise one very large question. Is life really supposed to be this hard? or this complicated? or this brutal?
And REALLY what I am asking is why do so many people within our culture seek phychiatric care?
