I seriously have a large amount of respect for this guy.

Awesome advice. Thank you Phillip!

"Synecdoche, New York" made all the difference to me. If you doubt his talent, watch that movie with a pack of tissues and think again :)

Remember that time Hoffman was glued to a wicker wheel chair and burned as he rolled down a hill? Thats all I can picture when I see him now.

@88try88 I would highly recommend "Happiness" and "The Big Lebowski"

good actor, good press interview. Maybe it's because I got a lot of respect for this guy, but some interviews just stick in your head better and longer. And this is certainly one of 'em.

capote is my least favorite film of hoffman. most favorite probably talented mr ripley
-
has anyone noticed that in these interviews the guy who took the first question, he always asks the stupidest and most akward questions that the actors/actresses dont know how to answer
I am like, obsessed with this guy now. As of yesterday. ( ;) )
I don't know what the fuck it is but damn, I love him. Talented genius.

It is such a pleasure to watch his movies. In my mind he is one of the most talented actors of our generation. Tremendously gifted and down to earth at the same time. A star in the best sense of the word.
