IMO, Nike really made their mark on the sneaker industry and became the ultimate titan that it is today from 87-92. Those designs were the quentessential designs of their era.The Beatles revolution commercial along with the Spike/Air Jordan campaigns of 87-88 set the whole thing off too. Nike began their separation from Adidas and other top notch companies. Also IMO, their designs began to decline from 93 forward. Designs were 2 busy and unfocused.But thank goodness for retro releases,huh Nike?
