  • is it just that when x=-1 y must be 0 so the only point would be -1 where y=0?

    The curve is symmetric about the max value at x=2 and so the distance between x=-1 and x=2 is 3 so the other zero has to be at x=5 and therefore x=5 is not listed so it has to be at x=-1 the answer is A
