  • mate the shimano rods at bigw go hard and there only 50 -80 bucks deadset as good as the 300 dollar ones

  • lol..too little too late but thanks fo the reply. I ended up getting a Nitro Tournament stick + Luvias 1003, 3lb Fireline and Im' smacking the fish like a Greek Commercial Fisherman.

  • Just go into a shop mate, you will soon see the soft plastic/spinning rods are about 6 - 7ft, amd the price range starts at $100 up to $800.

    Gloomis Mossback is a good rod , but expensive, I got a Gloomis GL3
