lol..too little too late but thanks fo the reply. I ended up getting a Nitro Tournament stick + Luvias 1003, 3lb Fireline and Im' smacking the fish like a Greek Commercial Fisherman.

Just go into a shop mate, you will soon see the soft plastic/spinning rods are about 6 - 7ft, amd the price range starts at $100 up to $800.
Gloomis Mossback is a good rod , but expensive, I got a Gloomis GL3

hey...Im a fly fisherman and live in Western Vic. Im wanting to buy a plastics rod for local bream and bass and I want it to flick light hardbodies as well. Any suggestions on brands, lengths??
