Please view IdnieGoGo.com. campaign for more details. I am pleased with my first attempt to design a practical, commercial-duty, charcoal oven for use in Haiti, and now I am ready to build the next prototype. This oven is fuel efficient and cooks crusty bread and pizza. It holds steady temps for hours with very little fuel or attention, and will also heat 5 gallon pails of water! This oven would be a great emergency, disaster and survival cooker.
Go to my IndieGoGo.com campaign to see more details about this oven.

  • Ok, next time try doing this without the cicadas.

My camera does not have a place to plug in a microphone. I hope to raise some funds at IndieGoGo to purchase a better camera.

YouTube wont let me post a full link but the partial link is

  • Excellent work. Are you planning to have the ovens constructed in Haiti, or have them shipped over? It seems you have addressed the very problems I have with the efficient wood gas stoves, that they are task masters they require you to keep feeding them. The only stove so far that I have seen that has long burn times is the TLUD. I bet there would be a market here in the US for such a stove. The prepper and offgrid comunities would love this.

Yes I hope to build the parts here in the USA and ship them to Haiti and other areas to be assembled. That way many more can be packed into a ship container. At IndieGoGo I have more details and a list of 20 issues that can keep an oven from being practical. Comments there will help me be featured and increase my chances of getting donations. I can't post a full link but add the usual junk in front the partial link above and add .com after IndieGoGo

  • what is the cost of thease ovens?

  • @oldgravely

It will be more expensive than a residential oven but it is commercial duty, or will be.

Commercial equipment is more expensive but will do a lot more work, and they are more durable and can make a lot more money for the user. The raw materials are about $200 to 250. They are fairly simple to build. I hope to build the parts and have them assembled in the areas closer to where they are to be used, where the labor cost is low enough that they can be affordable.

  • Hi, I have also enjoyed watching your oven creations and it's been a long time since your last video. You do good work.

I am curious, why do you target Haiti specifically for these ovens? There are many poor and needy people all over the world, so just wondering why you single out one small country. Maybe you could rename this:

Practical Commercial Charcoal Ovens for the World

    :-)

  • @lannyplans You do know how to edit or have someone who edits for you. Try recording an audio track inside, syncing to your previously shot video then edit that about 15db louder over top of your outside recording. Or just replace the original audio altogether.

  • @PressForFreedom

    Thanks PFF

Bamboo makes great charcoal, I will check out your site!

  • @tonysshadow

Motivation? Haiti is the ultimate challenge plus an org has ask for my help, I know I can not change Haiti but I believe I can help create some commerce.

Liberal? No just the opposite, I do not express my political opinion because it is a wedge issue.

Socialist, not! I could be drawing unemployment checks but I have chosen not to if that says anything.

Messiah? If I had a big ego I would be offended instead of asking for you to stay.

    Unsubscribe! Please reconsider!!

  • @tonysshadow Good bye. Ever thought about just helping your fellow man because they need help and you are able to help? Who cares what his motivation is? The man is trying to be a part of the solution to a need. Good riddance.

  • Lanny I have been watching your channel for years and you, sir, are quite the designer. Excellent job.
