Obviously Marcio was not going 100% against the old Master. You don't roll like that with a grandmaster who is 50+.
This session was all about a good time and technique.
I would love to have a session like this with Rickson, Sperry, Liborio or Gurgel someday. Those guys have been my biggest influences for my style of BJJ which is heavy top game.

it seems that when you get to such a high level of jiu jitsu, it is extremely hard to win a match. (when both guys are high) its as though they know so much that they cant submitt, or be submitted. Like knowing nothing :D. im sure that one can win point wise but it seems that submission is mostly for lower belts. i wish Carlos would go to some compitetions and just kickass. make a movie....Carlos Gracie Jr. Enter the Dragon.

I don't think they were really going out it...looks to me like they were just having a good time. Good display of skill. Loved the video.

hehe great great great level, very nice, need big level to roll that cool without doing shit.

Hard to say, he didn't seem to put much effort into defending the footlock there... he might have just wanted to end the rolling session and so chose to give him the sub.

damm that throw was badasssssss.
and did carlos really get tapped by that guy??
i dont think a lot of younger people don't understand, when you roll with older black belts, you shouldn't try to use your physical attributes, just use your technique.
good to see that here
