Where Do Bad People Go When They Die?

What, if anything, lies beyond death may be the ultimate question humans can contemplate; if but for all the other issues connected with it: the existence (or non-existence) of God, some transcendent standard of truth and ethics, rewards or punishment based upon those standards and whether or not we continue to exist in some form or fashion after we die. So let's take a moment and contemplate what Albert Camus called the ultimate question of philosophy. Where do YOU think bad people go when they die? And how bad to you have to be to be bad?

I'm so tired of Christians that scare off nonbelievers by claiming there's only burning everlasting Hell, Hell, Hell and Heaven. It's not just black and white. God is still a just and gracious God.

He is loving and gracious - so much so that He gave His only begotten son. (John 3:16) And He is also just - so much so that He gave His only begotten Son to be tortured to death and beyond by both the cross and our sins.

Meditate on what Jesus did and gave up on the cross. And once some of the import begins to overwhelm your soul, then ask yourself: if men can someone save themselves from their own sins - they why did Jesus bother with the shame and suffering of the cross?

Anyone who dies rejecting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour will spend eternity in hell. There are no "good people"; we are all wretched and filthy sinners who need to be washed in the shed Blood of Jesus Christ.

They don't "go" anywhere. When a person--or any living organism--dies it simply ceases to exist as a conscious entity. All cellular activity stops after death occurs and it is the functioning of an organism that gives it existence in any meaningful sense. Consciousness is the functioning of a living brain and constitutes our existence. When you die you don't "go" anywhere.
