CNC Software, Inc. - 2010 Northeast Energy Efficiency Business Leader

Sponsored by the CT Energy Efficiency Fund - In 2008 CNC built a 13,000 square foot addition to its already existing 38,000 square foot facility in Tolland, CT. The Company participated in the Energy Conscious Blueprint program, an initiative supported by the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund and administered by the Connecticut Light & Power Company that offers cash incentives to commercial and industrial businesses that integrate energy efficient technology into their renovations or new construction. The addition incorporates a number of energy efficient technologies that build on the original facility's use of geothermal heat pumps as well as a 73 kW solar array which generates approximately 30 percent of CNC's electricity, the Company's only source of power.
