I meen what was the last to go the free to air uhf 36 channel and then the net feed.
I miss ALT TV. :-(

I will have to dig up that promo that has that Elton John song, u know the one that is asking for advertising, guess that was the beginning of the end. (would you accept that as a video response?)
I had no idea that the Sky platform was as much as $600K + a year.
But that really gave Alt a wider audience, what maybe a few thousand ?.
Can you see TVNZ buying the Alt ID and using it on Freeview ?.
What happened to the new owners of Alt ?.

Such a shame ALT TV went to the wall !.
I meen that is quite a strong Showreel, and ALT was the only 'live' Music TV station in NZ.
No tape loops here like Juice and J2 (63).
ALT TV is sadly missed as the cutting edge station that it was, with real random clips.
Don't spose you have the final broadcast ? Wasn't 'The End' by The Doors the final clip ??.

Yeah.. the good alt days. This was the first of many, MANY showreels that would never generate any $ for the station.
I actually deleted the final broadcast off my cellphone about a month ago. Had a bunch of us sitting in the control room waiting for alt to go off air.
You're right about the doors final song.
