This is an Sonic & Knuckles rework I did back in 2008. This was one of my more popular tracks.

Click on 'watch in HD' for the recommended quality. My rendition of the theme for the Flying Battery Zone stage (Act 1 only) from Sonic & Knuckles. Since the orginal is probably my favorite piece of Sonic music from the genesis days, I had to remix this one sooner or later, and now was the time. My take on the mood of this version is, if the Flying Battery Zone was in space this is what it would (kind of) sound like, hence the 'look' of the video. Like a futuristic 'Starlight Speedway Zone ...
