For more than twenty-five years Island Press has been transforming vision into action through a variety of different channels that include academia, federal and state governments and agencies, associations such as the U.S. Green Building Council, Society of Conservation Biologists and others. From the classroom to the outside world to the halls of Congress, Island Press has been on the front lines providing the information educators, professionals and policymakers need to change the way the natural world is treated. On a daily basis we are producing the information and tools needed by those working to solve todays environmental problems and we are constantly looking for better ways to do that.
