Women of Courage, Paola Ferrer, Esq. - Philantropy

Paola serves as Director of Community Impact at the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley. Concerned about the status of Latino attorneys in Massachusetts, she helped launch the first chapter of ALPFA-Law. Most recently, she was named one of "Boston's 20 On the Move" by the Boston Biusiness Journal and El Planeta newspaper, which honors influential Latinos making a difference in the community. Paola graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Interantional Relations and latin American studies, and went on to earn her M.A. at BU in Criminal Justice, followed by a law degree from Suffolk University.
