Instead of save state here's an easier trick when using the Big Bomb.  Purposely fall down the ladder. The Big Bomb's timer will give you 3 seconds to stop it from exploding so quickly climb up to stop it. This will align you with the ladder then you can climb down easily.

The bomb trick helps out a lot here. Once you get used to doing it.

that dungeon is impossible with out a map unless you get lucky by fallying down the correct 4 hole sequences
