Fans started liking Stone Cold more than Bret Hart because of the difference in look and attitude. Let's face it, what's the more manly appearance? A whiney dude with long hair in black and pink tights, or a bald-headed guy that'll whoop anyone's ass and do it in a t-shirt and cut-off jeans? I wouldn't be surprised if Bret Hart's fans were homosexual to begin with. He was a great wrestler, but he could of done without the hair and the womanly colored tights.

All joking aside, Bret Hart was correct in the things he would say about the American Wrestling fan at that time. Hell, he was right about the American culture in general. He said in 1997 that Canada has healthcare for all citizens and greedy Americans don't care about each other. That was a true statement that he snuck in a promo. Dude was right. I still am a Hitman fan as he was always my favorite, even in the 80s with the Anvil! GO BRET!

@TheYoungTopGun Bro i mena this interview might be real and his real thoughts but him and Stone Cold were good friends back in the WWF/WWE, they knew how to work with each other and they enjoyed working with each other it wasn't him who wanted to be the bad guy and it wasn't Stone Cold who wanted to be the bad guy it was Vince tying to create the best story line and character image for them both to help bring up the value for the WWE/F at the time.
