Can someone help me with details as to which is the track that plays in the background.. I've been searching for months now and often get to hear this track on various episodes.

I have also been searching for this theme song. I finally found a site which suggests Anne Nikitin is the composer, but I still can't find what it is called, or where and if it can be downloaded. Here's the site: screenedmusic.co.uk, then search profiles for Anne Nikitin. Good luck :)

@misswen75 hey i am guessing its not anne niktin ... i searched furthermore i believe there is a guy who is visually impaired and is a super piano player. i cant quite recollect his name. he is the one it seems who created this theme.. but i couldn't find it anywhere. i tried mailing national geo india too .. but that didnt help either.

doubt it comes from anything that is commonly known.. i reckon it's been composed specially for NatGeo and therefore its their property..

Sickening that i can't find the music for download anywhere. That pisses me off :( Makes me want to buy a piano or download digital piano and try it my own, but can't read notes :)

Yes, but the thing about great film music is that once you finally get your hands on a copy of the music itself, sit down, put the headphones on and just listen to the music by itself you realize it doesn't quite make it. It's not as great as you thought and doesn't have enough content in there to stand on its own. You realize that a lot of the power came from the images. Cavatina (theme music of The Deer Hunter) is the quintessential example. So cheer up if you never find it, mate.

The song is by "Ty Unwin", not sure what it is called but it was composed especially for Nat Geo :( let us know if ANYONE manages to get their hands on it.
