I get such a kick out of watching her coach's expressions and amazement. At this event, he opens the water bottle, looks stunned, and then tries- and fails - to act totally composed. Maybe MORE nervous than Kwan,lol!

This is the first program I've seen Michelle skate, and it was instant ♥. But it was in an earlier performance when she was wearing her hair in a half-updo. She looked so innocent at that performance, while this one is lovely but with a more determined expression on her face. Anyone have that version? I can't wait to see Michelle skate again!

Right, but they decided to take her skating in a different direction and focus and presentation, even if it meant scaling down the difficulty a bit.

Josee Chouinard, her biggest competitor in this particular event (since Chen and Slutskaya were not here) was yet to skate so they couldnt give all 5.9s to Michelle before she skated.
