  • Love this song!

  • this video was how i discovered mary's danish. i so wanted to be julie ritter and was lucky enough to see them several times live.

  • @golperuano Yeah! Nick Zeigler was the original drummer (pictured)... I noticed they kind of fizzed once he left. I guess the *beat* of the band isn't a such a figurative thing, huh?

  • Hey thats the San Gabriel Mission at minute 3:00 they are walking around! Finally San Gabriel made it into music trivia .

  • Yes Sir.

  • Ebay. you can find all 4 cd's there.

  • god how can I get some of their songs? I lost some of my old tapes of theirs I had and I am trying to find their songs somewhere...if you ived in LAA in the 80s you loved Mary's Danish..I knew a guy who had a license plate stating I'd rather be at...a Mary's Danish concert...true fan of a great band!!!

  • Gosh... I need a time machine so I can go back to their time as a teenager... The late 80's and early 90's was such a cool time in music!!!

  • Holy cow. This was 21 years ago and I worked on this video, helped out with the sync sound playback during the "performance" parts. I think it was a club in LA called "Lips" or something like that.

  • They were really awesome live. I remember this drummer as being good and was surprised when JBJ suddenly showed up at a performance. JBJ played with a little more power but I remember liking this drummer's jazzy style. I must have seen at least 20 performances of theirs in southern california back in the late 80's. I particularly remember a performance at Bebop Records in Northridge. What a small place but awesome performance.
