This game is usually just called Kart Rider, and it's a pretty blatant Mario/Crash/etc. Kart racing copy, but it's got a few unique weapons and features it brings to the table.

Like most current online games, you can buy armor, clothes, new karts, characters, all that stuff, both with real money and in-game money. You level up which allows you to play at different difficulty levels/tracks (i'm at L3, the middle difficulty right now), as well.

The game's entirely in Chinese because while there used to be a USA version, it's been shut down and now this is where I play it. I'm using an account that was made for me by a friend of mine, that's how i'm able to play on a Chinese server.

this couldn't have came out before Mario Kart, because Mario Kart came out before AOL for Windows was even released, aka before the internet popularity boom. :P

This came out in 2004, 12 years after Super Mario Kart did.
