this level was one of the more memorable for its nightmarish difficulty, along with 6, 12 and 26 for me. 13 and 14 would come next for me.

You're not alone. I know it took me forever to beat this on Hotshot, and i moved SO slowly going thru it! The music on this level's one of the best in the game in my opinion, with Level 11's, Level 13's, Level 17's, Level 18's and Level 21's up there too.
