Thank you Bob for keeping are league. The cfl is 100 years old and guys play because they love the game. No big contracts , just common goals. To be the best they can be !

Even as a Roughriders fan, I always respected the job Mr. Ackles had done. Riders and Lions fans may have their differences, but we can agree Bob helped make this league what it is today. RIP Bob.

This really captures the essence of both Bob Ackles, and of the CFL. Like the CFL itself, Bob Ackles never quit believing and always kept up the fight, through good times and bad. The CFL really owes its existence to men like Bob Ackles, and this video is a good start towards acknowledging and thanking those builders. Mark Cohon obviously "gets it" when it comes to honouring the league's history. This is truly OUR league...
