  • @DJEmergency Actually, the reason ehh macs are inferior for gaming isn't just developers, Mac OS doesn't support DirectX, but apple ships Macs with DirectX graphics cards and makes them use OpenGL for everything, and although they do run OpenGL, they don't run it as well as they do DirectX

  • @EmoticonMayhem This is not true. Refer to this video: v=Ny2291cRdOs

  • @DJEmergency whether OpenGL or DirectX is better the problem still stands that DirectX has become the industry standard for gaming so that's what all games are made in, and porting games from DirectX to OpenGL is costs time, and by extension, money and most developers don't feal that they will make their money back from this considering the fact that you need a Mac Pro or top of the line iMac before you have a gfx card fast enough for gaming

  • @EmoticonMayhem v=s3jXkWDS4q0 <-- Macbook Air. Weakest Mac that's available on Apple's website playing Crysis. Oh yea and another thing... v=r1V2stX5TT8 Steam for Mac. You didn't know that Mac's are built with great system specs? People like you are in denial and still think Mac's are low in specs. This is a myth that Microsoft pushed on the masses. There's plenty of games that run on a Mac and more windows games get ported everyday and are available in the Mac App Store.

  • @DJEmergency what OS is he running in that vid? oh yeah, windows 7 :P

  • @EmoticonMayhem The point I was making with that Crysis video is that you claimed you need to buy a high powered Mac to run games and that's not true, because every Mac that's current today has great specs that are plenty good to run games. If you want to get technical then here>> v=uHOPSNDyNwY Crysis on the Mac OS.

  • @DJEmergency yes, but you coan get a pc whic his equally as thin and stylish as a MacBook air with similair specs for less, and the crappy HD 3000 graphics in the Mac Mini and Macbook Air will struggle with games on low! I tried to find the macbook air shown in the video with the Nvidia 320m graphics but couldn't for some reason

  • @EmoticonMayhem Yes but not integrated into the OS like it is in Mac.

  • @microsf121 Yea you have to download software and it's not integrated into the OS.

  • Don't wanna burst your bubble but iCloud is available for windows as well
