  • anyone know when this interview was taped? The album that the narrator says "will be out in the spring" is Hourglass (I'm assuming)? The reason I am assuming this is because the narrator also says that he us due to marry Smedvig in the coming year as well? Anyone? Thanks in advance...

  • @emjee This show aired on 12/12/ 2000. I assume it was taped maybe a month or two before. I edited off the intro where Charlie Rose mentions 'last month's release of the Greatest Hits 2' album (11/2000) . James and Kim married 2/01...twin sons born by surrogate a couple months later in April. 'October Road' was released 8/02, so if this is the album they were talking about, it must have been delayed. Hope this helps :)

  • I am so impressed with James Taylor. He is an amazing artist and he has been my favorite artist since I was a little girl. I have seen James Taylor, in concert, many times. I just saw him with Carole King in Tanglewood. The last song brought tears to my eyes. I knew that this was a once in a life time experience. James Taylor is very generous he is to share his struggles with the world. This can help many who share these struggles. This sounds a lot like sensory processing disorder (spd).

  • @sharicutler Thank you for a wonderful comment. He is one of the most genuine and talented people ever...to recover from a lifetime of inner struggles. I also recently saw the Troubadour concert in Chicago (have vids on my other channel 'bze2nlz1'), and I know what you mean about 'Close Your Eyes'...it was very emotional!!
