Put simply:

If Kefka and Sephiroth operated in the same universe, Sephiroth would be frozen in Mako in the North crater manipulating Jenova to do his bidding.

Meanwhile Kefka would sit atop his tower with his feet up laughing at the whole thing. Until he got bored with it and just destroyed everything and everyone.

@RATPT0I I don't really hate him because of his skilless achievements, it's more because everyone seems to praise him saying he IS the best FF Villain ever and you're wrong if you disagree when everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I liked Kefka at one point, not the way everyone else liked him, I liked him because he's like the Joker and I love the Joker. I'm also starting to hate Sephiroth as well because a lot of people think Kefka and Sephiroth are the only two FF Villains it seems.

Exactly. Kefka went from a laughable nobody to Final Boss. He was just a lazy snob who cared about himself and didn't want to do things himself. He was a pushover. He ran away from the player several times, and you fought him and beat him mutiple times as well. You said to yourself: "He'll either be a mini-boss, or Gesthal will kill him if he steps out of line."

The fact that he had no skill makes you hate him even more for becoming the god of Magic.

@RATPT0I A lot things Kefka did took no skill and were cheap shots.

1. Rather than everyone at Doma, he sneaks around and poisons the water. A kid could do that.

2. He couldn't even burn down Figaro with MAGIC.

3. Kefka needs help from lackeys.

4. Anyone could ruin the surface the way Kefka did; *Pushes statues* Anyone could also drain the source of magic from those statues and become a god with ease as well since they can't resist.

5. He's Ghestal's puppet.
