Sir David is joined by Ali Babacan, the Turkish deputy prime minister and economics minister, to discuss how the global financial crisis is affecting Turkey and the progress of Turkey's bid to join the EU. Plus, is the Darfur war all but over? That was certainly the impression given by the outgoing head of the UN force in Darfur, General Martin Luther Agwai, who said last month: "As of today, I would not say there is a war going on." But how do the rebels feel about General Agwai's words? Sir David is joined by Dr Tahir El Faki, a spokesman for the largest rebel group, JEM.
