I'm just wondering how do I get rid of my scratchy sound I get when playing the violin? My position is fine I think, but when I play it doesn't feel like a vibrant sound at all.

@TheAmefist -- wow, there are so many factors involved, its really hard to even guess. why don't you post a video...then i could take a look and try to give you an opinion. i'm just a student myself, so i don't know how much i could help you, but i'd be happy to take a look.
