  • Forget McDonald's, Coca Cola, Nike and all that mess. Blues is America's greatest export.

As someone who grew up knowing nothing but trouble, blues has become the vehicle to sooth my troubled mind.

    Right on MMF

  • The Blues is a Feeling !!!

I'm glad you share that feeling !

    Peace Brothers ans Sisters !

  • "you can hear some polka and start cryin" ah ha ha ha AMEN!

  • also on the subject of history did you know that the slave trade was not a white phenomena the white slavers got the slaves of tribes that were powerfull in the interior of africa that subjected other tribes to tribute. these other tribes were frequently raided for people to sell to arabs whites and other african tribes . it was and still is a global shity thing that never was abolished its just rebranded no longer for agriculture but for sex history lesson over go read now and lots you need it

  • @lelightful thats right my racist friend country blues , mountain blues and many more say bock boggs etc, but blues aint what it is associated with. its way wider early blues players would not recognise the lables put on them MJH was country music the shieks were also what mattered was what they were saying the feeling they did it with and the expression of something that affected the listner to the core is the blues not what you associated you think it is peace mate

  • @lelightful also many scots and irish were made slaves by there so called clan chifes ripped from there ancestral homes they had fought for over not just years but 1000s of years romans saxons angles vikings and there own, these guys are also the ancestors of blues they felt the same issolation as the africans that were abducted and sold as slaves only there incarciration was different from those of the clearances of ireland and scotland and what did they bring to the slave lands

  • @lelightful some ones got ISSUES what is whit and what is black im colour blind but i know about the mississippi shieks and charley patton and bo carter hell i can play some of there tunes ( badly may i add ) but im not so ignorant as to be an absolutist black aint always black patton was mixed black white and indian oh his cousins the chatmons bo, sam etc were also mixed skip james = mixed so asses the ISSSSUES

  • @lelightful Im white , and i agree with you :)

  • Big Ron Hunter always has the best way of saying things.

  • i'll give my testicles to hang out with this guys a least an hour and just listen and learn

  • @lelightful I have no problem with a black man singing country, the most successful music in the U.S. right now... created by white folk :)
