How often do you change your strings? They always seem so uh...fresh, and I love the sound, if I could have a new pair of strings for every week I would heheh. Thanks for the vid, I like seeing what goes on behind the scenes.

depends.  when I play a lot of gigs I change them pretty frequently. these strings are about 2-3 weeks old. I usually break some strings before I have to change them.

cool! i can remember actually loving cassettes but i never felt that way about cds or other digital mediums, way to go for giving tape a go! can't wait to hear the final cuts.

i use the millenia to run the bass over the tube before going into the gt10.  It can pass hiz through the millenia.

Jeff, honestly, if you say this goes into this goes into this while shaking the camera back and forth, nobody will be able to see what's going on. Maybe you should draw a flowchart. ;)

Hi Jeff cool vid... geek question unrelated to tape but I notice you seem to have the Millenia preamp going to the high-Z input on the GT-10... do you find that offers better sound than straight to the GT-10 (or is it more for routing purposes)? I was trying something like that recently (10M impedance preamp on Fishman SoloAmp to 1M input on GT-10) and it seemed to offer some improvement, not sure if it was my imagination.
