Yeah but the story from Initial D is a lot better, i would say it has no weak points atleast the first stage is perfect.
From Wangan I only saw 3 episodes.

To all the comments I've read:
1 - Wangan Midnight manga is older than the one from Initial D.
2 - Initial D came out FIRST. Wangan Midnight started in 2007.
3 - Initial D and Wangan Midnight are NOT the same. ID is DRIFT, WM is SPEED.
But yeah you could compare both series since there are lot of similiar things in both. :)

initial d is no longer realistic cause of version 4 D:, but the other versions weren't too realistic either. Initial D games used to be awsome, everyone played ver. 3 along time go. lol but dont you guys think initial d story line is more awsome XD?
