Blood:The Last Vampire - Saya Fight Scene

This was one of my favorite parts in the movie. Also the blurryness on the bottom of the screen is due to some idiot who wanted to cover up the japanese subtitles, I wish I could remove it.

This isn't based on the Blood+ series, it's based on the Blood: The Last Vampire movie.

Did you know that there are scenes that were edited in different dvd versions. There is one where Saya is fighting these two giant Afro men. Also, the scene where Saya throws that Umbrella, on another DVD, they changed it into a pole. Maybe they thought it was silly that an umbrella can hurt those bloodsuckers.

Oh snap! I didn't know how powerful she really was until her eyes went red and she pushed that ugly vampire off her. That was pretty cool.

The cinematography, soundtrack, lighting and the whole fight scene in general is phenomenal. Even better than many of the kung-fu classics!

Still the top movie of 2009 and an American classic. After this other vampire films will be boring. Non stop action with a breath taking story.

Brilliant film. Makes most other vampire films look slow and boring. Fast and furious from the start, its easily watchable many times. Five stars. No wonder it has a huge cult following in America.

OK the movie was so-so but I believe that in future years 0:00-4:40 will be looked back on as a masterpiece of cinematography. Everything plays its part beautifully: lighting, editing, camerawork, sound, music, acting, stunts. What's particularly good is the fluidity of the movements and the pacing. I even think it's better-done than the fight scenes in 300.
