Great Job! OUtstanding mechanics for an 11 year old. I play div 2 college baseball and i know if this kid continues to have a work ethic like this he will have no problem being a standout star in div 1. My favorite quote i tell everybody that still play on my high school team, "hard work beats talent when talent doesnt work hard." This kid has the opportunity to have both by my age(19). Good Luck!

@blurr302 Thank you for the kind words. I showed Gman your comments and he was like its nice to be noticed for all the hard work I puy in to baseball. He is 12 years old now and still working very hard. You are correct once you get to your level of baseball the difference between those who start and or stand out in college is their work ethic. At that level of baseball the skill sets/talent are pretty much equal. Good luck this season with your college baseball team!!!

@baseballman74 Thanks for the kind words. As a dad I am very proud of his work ethic. He is now 12 years old and still works very hard on improving his game.

This drill is fast paced and this kid is working his butt off! He will do very well in High School and beyond.

@2cans1 This drill wears him out. I use this drill with some of my high school infielders and even once they are done they leave feeling tired LOL.

@TheRockwell19 Thanks for commenting. The glove he is using in this video is a Wilson A2K 11 1/4. The person throwing the baseballs is Tony Miner he played 3rd with the Indians. I agree with you that in some parts of the video he did start to use poor mechanics. However the drill is to get the player to change directions quick and to really get them to move their feet. This drill is tough and VERY exausting. G-Man was only 11 years old in this video and I would like to think he has improved

Why such a huge glove for infielder ? Infielder's gloves should never be over 11 and 1/4 inch unless a 1 bagger or behind the dish . He has some skillz but might want to slow down the time in between balls coming at him.If you notice he started using poor mechanics , letting the ball get back between his feet.Make eye contact so he sees the ball released or where it is coming from . Dont take this wrong just trying to help , he will pick up poor habits this way . ~ Domingo Ayala ~ Semi-Pro ?
