System Shock 2 Tribute (Special Edition) PART 7

System Shock 2 is a science fiction horror-themed hybrid game which incorporates a number of elements commonly seen in computer role-playing games and first-person shooters. Taking place on an experimental starship in the far future, System Shock 2 has the player take control of a soldier trying to survive a deadly and mysterious alien infestation. Horror is a prominent element of System Shock 2, and the game has been frequently described as being quite frightening.
This seven part tribute includes the original game music and a complete speed run video from beginning to end including some of the best audio logs from the game. I hope you'll enjoy this as much as I did making it.

On vista, you need to get the patch upgrading it from 1.5->2.3. Then, you need to get a new EXE designed to work on newer systems. After that, you need to start up task manager as soon as you load up the game IF you have a dual core processer. Then in processes, find SHOCK2, right click it and choose "set affinity. Make sure that only ONE CPU is selected. Then you should be set.

I'm about to get SS2 to play again for the first time in 5 or so years, anyone know what patches/mods to apply to get the best experience and where to get them from? Any tips for getting it to work on Vista?
