I met Andre when I was in BC for the Olympics. I was standing in the rain and he came up and asked if I minded if he set up shop there. Standing there in the rain listening to him play and tell his stories was the highlight of my entire trip. His music never gets old no matter how many times I play his CD.

Andre Girard.
He has inspired an unbelievable amount of people and has left a legacy of hope through his incredible life that we are hoping will spread.
He will be missed both those who knew him as well as those who simply knew him through his presence online - Cellphone videos, travelers blogs and this excellent documentary.
