ELENA FLOAREŞ-COJENEL
She was born in Bacãu where she attended the courses of middle and high school. In Jassy, she graduated from the Faculty of Philology Al. I. Cuza University. She held the position of teacher in Jassy. She was a member of George Călinescu Painting Club. After 1990, she became a member of the Romanian Art, a Cultural Society of Jassy.




Artistic activity




1980 Opens her first personal painting exhibition at Vasile Alecsandri National Theatre of Jassy.
Participates in the Autumn Salon of Jassy.

1981 Is present in the group exhibition of paintings and graphics from Victoria Hall, Jassy.
Takes part in the Song for Romania National Festival where she is awarded the 1st Prize.
A new personal painting exhibition.

1982 Participates in A World without Arms group exhibition, organized by the painter Dan Hatmanu.
1982 Personal exhibition in Jassy
1983 Personal exhibition at the Art Museum of Vaslui, introduced by Dr. Gheorghe Macarie, University Professor.
1984 Personal exhibition at the Art Museum of Zalău.

1987 Participates in the Autumn Salon of Jassy, First Prize

1989 December January 1990 Opens a new personal exhibition at the Popular Athenaeum of Focşani, introduced by Dr. Laurenţiu Şoitu, Professor.
1993 Under the aegis of Romanian Art Cultural Society she opens a representative personal exhibition at Victoria Hall, Jassy; introduced by the art critic Valentin Ciucă, Acad. Constantin Ciopraga, painter Dan Hatmanu. 2006 April Personal exhibition at Sutu Palace Bucharest, introduced by the art critic Valentin Ciuca, the painter Sabin Balasa and Al. Husar University Professor.
2006 May The hall of the Comedy Theater, Bucharest

2006 June World Trade Center Jassy, personal exhibition introduced by Acad. Constantin Ceopraga, art critic Valentin Ciuca and Ion Truica University Professor.
2006 July personal exhibition at the second-hand book shop galleries, Dumitru Grumazescu, introduced by art critic Valentin Ciuca and actor C. Smintinica
2006 November The national contest of painting , graphics and decorative art „N.N. Tonitza", the 8th edition . The medal of Art Foundation St. Luca.
