Mettle Games Singapore 2011. Bits of the whole event.

I'm not very fast, being new to this kind of riding. But I had a great time participating, and watching the better riders at the event.

A DH bike would have been a little more approprate, but my Kona Kipaku X-country bike was set it up right and it exceeded my expectations.

@john9621 pretty short, just over a min, i'm pretty slow. the expert cat was even shorter as they went straight off the building instead of down the escalator. I'm sure you can find a cam vid by some of the other riders

No worries, I ride an xc bike, and there are a couple of guys riding hardtail (no rear suspension) bikes. Might not go as fast as a proper Downhill/freeride/all-mountain bike, but we have as much fun. I hear 2012 will be a good year for biking in Singapore, get yourself on the SGMTB F.Book page if you want to know about the next race or simply where to ride.

Well, seeing handlebars and brake levers and broken spokes going through people's faces and rupturing corneas has a tendency one paranoid.

i didn't know that have downhill competition ..if have i really wanna join ..but my bike it not like other s but have full suspension ..do anyone know where to play downhill in singapore ? and which mtb shop are cheap in singapore?
