i couldn't have said it better myself, as a long time arma player who never really got into Day Z all that much, its nice to hear another person who is looking forward to Arma 3 for what it is. not the Day Z.

As a DayZ player, I am not ashamed to say that I'm looking forward to Arma 3 over DayZ by a significant amount. I only play DayZ for the survival part of it. Worth buying Arma II though, I love playing on Wasteland and Co-Op servers.

The problem there is that already people are flooding into the Alpha expecting DayZ to be there. Its a huge pain in the ass and I feel like DayZ may have a permanent effect on the series.
