  • The stock non turbo xr6 I drive every now and then...when my parentes feel genrous hits 120 in second when its in tip tronic so im guessing turbo one would be more than 140 in 3rd? But either way close race

  • please read and think before you reply... this comment was refering to the couriers in gear speeds... "if you pay attention to the vid you'll hear it hit the top of third in a smidge under 10sec... give or take (knowing the car) thats 140ks. you'll find there aren't a lot of factory cars that run that quick and make a suitable camera car - the XR6 Turbo does."

  • Ok I read now im replying. The standard non turbo XR6 i drive every now and then hits 120km/h in 2nd, so the turbo I'm assuming would hit alot more than 140km/h in 3rd.

  • repeat, it's the courier that does those speeds... OMG!!! sigh.

  • Running the Fe huh? Love that motor

  • hilltop hoods pumpin in the background

  • Lot faster then The courier I drive,

    Bloody 4 Cylinder Diesel.

  • @deviousminds AHAHAHAH some people just dun get it bro =P

  • @CARTY2011 Sounds tops. Handling would be pretty shite though. Leaf sprung arse doesn't handle much power. Would still be a blast I reckon.

  • @gergatronic a mate had a 2003 courier 2.6 that he put turbo a the thing had massive torque running in on 6psi still chopped most the imports and v8s

  • If that revvy 6 is in the courier, I'd guess it's either a Mazda v6, a Toyota 1GG or Nissan rb20. Having a 2.6 Courier stocker myself though, it would be a tight squeeze to fit an inline 6. I reckon a 2.6 G6 turbo would be brilliant, very torquey off boost then the turbo would take care of the top end.
