Thank you, mutewoman, for posting these gorgeous Scottish and Welsh songs! As soon as I discovered them (on the recent KA/DG/Decca/SWR etc 80th birthday compilation for Fritz, "Der unvergessene FW"), I could not stop listening. They have a charm and a virtuosity that are unsurpassed, even by Fritz's other song recordings. And what's more they were recorded live at a concert (you can hear the occasional page turn and audience cough) - the perfection the performers achieve live is incredible.
