Ha I see no one has asked any questions so I'll have a shot: how is the grip on the pliers? The edges look thin so its not going to be super comfortable, but do they dig into your palm?

The marlin spike, do you know what that is used for?

well it's sharp. so I guess it's not a marlin 'spike'
But I would use it for punching holes in leather or similar material, typically marlin spikes are used for knotwork, and I bet this would be good for woodworking since it's sharp
