Police set up roadblocks around Canton Friday night, trying to catch the person who robbed the SeaComm Federal Credit Union.
The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid 40âs. Witnesses said he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt when he walked into the bank. He was also carrying a black duffel bag.
Investigators said the suspect walked into the bank, pulled out a gun and demanded money from a teller.
Canton village police were leading the case, with assistance from the sheriffâs department, state police and Potsdam police.
Scott Wilson, the chief operating officer of SeaComm, was on scene. Police could be seen reviewing a videotape of the suspect in the building.
The SeaComm credit union was also robbed in December 2006, where robbers reportedly got $270,000.
In July 2006, the MBT Bank in Canton was robbed of $10,000.

i personally think this robbery is related to the tupper lake robbery ,that,s just my opinion.15 minutes supposively before police arrived was too much time imo, hopefully they,ll catch him.
