A little pain never hurt anybody? Something sounds wrong with that statement. Wearing a chest protector under your shirt doesn't make it look better if you have a v neck umpire shirt. Don't wear your hat backwards, buy a hat for the plate. Also buy some decent equipment. Hard shell chest protectors are a must. You won't feel a thing, especially in little league ball. I personally like my shin guards to go to the thigh, but that is more of a personal preference. What is up with your blue mask?

Any umpire belonging to any association knows better than to wear a hat backwards. No association with any credibility would not permit any of its umpires to wear hats backwards.

I would not listen to this guy at all... I am a little league and high school umpire. If i walk out there lookin like that i would probably be laughed at.. Get some real gear and learn how to umpire baseball
