If there's one thing Mohamed Abdalla isn't, it's bored.
The rising junior from North Providence, R.I., spent his sophomore year at Lynn University serving as a resident assistant, student government's Chief Financial Officer, a member of the Relay for Life leadership committee, and canvassing for his preferred presidential candidate (Obama). He did all this - and kept his grades up - while also campaigning for another successful presidential candidate (himself) and pursuing a lifelong dream of earning a college degree and his commercial pilots license as a student in the College of Business Management and School of Aeronautics at Lynn.
Fellow students Christina Mendoza and Carolina Gonzalez joined Mohamed, who was recently elected student body president for 2009-2010, for one of his light days earlier this spring, which began with a 7 a.m. alarm and ended after a 7 p.m. SGA meeting. See a little of what they saw and experienced - including a birds eye view of the Boca Raton coastline.
