He is incorrect, however.

He hasn't been more successful than Goldust.

Goldie won his first IC title three months after debuting. Then he won it again two months after that. Then won it a third time shortly before leaving in 1999.

Cody has only won the IC belt once. Four years after his debut. And he hasn't even held it as long as his brother yet.

wonder why dusty and gold dusty were built totally different from cody, different mothers or roids, this is a legit ? for a hordcore wrestling fan.

They train differently.

Dusty didn't train much at all.

Dustin/Goldust, according to interviews, does a bit of light weight lifting and hits the treadmill primarily. He's more of a runner.

Cody is much more into body building than his father or brother. Hence the look.

They do have different mothers, though.

I admire this whole family. Dusty Rhodes had an undeniably huge impact in the wrestling world. Goldust was an edgy, great character and the man behind the paint, Dustin, is truly inspiring. Cody is becoming a major player in WWE and has a large fan base behind him-- not only a great young wrestler, but also pretty darn easy on the eyes :)

@ShatteredDreamsProd1 Also, people don't really take Cody seriously, Yeah he is becoming a serious player, and we all see that, but... in 1995,6,7, 8 and 9 (He was a very serious player, and many wondered, What if... What if Goldust wins the title... Cody wouldn't have had as much success if it wasn't for his brother, (he would still be that rhodes boy with a mono toned lisp...)

I am hoping to see Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust at WrestleMania. I have been a fan of Goldust for a long time now and would love to see him become Intercontinental Champion one more time. Always wanted him to team up with Undertaker as well for the Tag Team Titles. Talk about mind games!!

Cody is a future world champion but Imo 1. I respect Goldust more for making a name for himself in WWE without using the rhodes name similar to guys like Doink the clown ,Alberto Del Rio,and Jake Roberts who were also 2nd and 3 rd generation stars.2.The only reason imo that goldust didnt get a wwe title run is the same reason Dusty didnt in wwe.Politics.Vince never liked to give a guy from another territory like NWA the belt back in the day.Rude,Martel,Dusty,Perfect,­etc etc.All champs else where

@Kudell46and2 I liked his feud with Sheamus too.He should have pinned him at least once though.Would of made it more exciting.I haven't seen a good series feud like that since Cena and Booker T back in 04 for the us gold.
