Was that motor stock? hows the floor metal ? Any work done there?

no thats no the stock motor that is a 302 out of a 78 ford pickup ....um the floor pans are decent there is a hole in the drives side near the door avout the size of a quarter

niether man it is a 302 and the truck drives like a charm for a truck that doesn't have power steering or power brakes lol (the bigger tires make it hard to turn when sitting still thou.......

24" just off the back of the box? nothin IN THE FRONT OF THE BOX?, I guess id be looking for the specs for a 19665 or 66 shortbed, BOX AND FRAME,cant seem to find aNAYTHING ON THE NET! THANKS DUDE!

@bigsexy3037 ya man i took 2 feet off the back, but i looked in an lmc truck catolog and found out i should have taken less off but it turned out to be ok i just have a little extra space between the bed and the cab. if i were u id check out an LMC truck catalog it'll give u all the specs. its really useful.

I miss my old '65 F-100. Like you I had converted to a '82 302 engine. Rebuilt the engine and had a RV cam and a stock ford 4bbl manifold and a Holley vac. secondary carb, ford electronic ignition. Got great gas mileage, 15-20mpg. Went to a 4spd New process trans, also. Then I got parts from a "73 3/4 ton and it became a 3/4 ton with power disc brakes and a dana 60 rear end. It was my work truck and I drove it over 30 yrs and 300k miles before it got totalled. I miss it. Nice to see yours.

im actually converting my 65 ford long bed into a short bed. i just finished making the cuts on the bed now i just got finish welding it back together and put her back on the frame
