@FieryAngelSpit seeing how he studied at Berklee College of Music, i'd say he was very aware of any chords he was playing. Thats not to discount what you mean by him playing through feeling though, you can tell that he plays with tons of it. I'm just sure he's aware of theory, shapes, arpeggios etc as well

@McReinsen he is not playing by chord progression he's just talkin using bass i bet he didnt know what are the chords he is playing....he just plays expressing feelings
