Sunday morning worship in L.A.,California where Dr. Carl Baccus is the minister with great song leaders including: Willie Norwood, Jeff Murrah, Chris Turner, Joe Holt
I'm sure that there are plenty of other uses for the world wide web when it comes to doing the will of the Lord. We should not bicker over a matter of opinions that fail in comparison to the pertinence of what we are charged to do-for our salvation. I further apologize to other viewers for our debate (we are passionate, not possessed). I pray that you received us (me, especially) in love, and I wish not to discourage anyone from the gospel. Come on in, the water's fine...
I apologize for your mistaking my reference to a sporting event as a comparison. However, If one can be overly passionate about their favorite team, I reserve the right to be just as enthused about my Savior, hence the disclaimer "Personally". Of course, now that I have revisited the rest of the righteous rebuttals, I reserve my stance even still: that we are so critical of the scripture when it comes to the acts of worship going on around us that we neglect sound doctrine in our own lives.
In the New Testament, there is the joy of feasts (Luke 12:19), and also a joy in God’s salvation (1 Peter 1:6). Paul uses joy in the form of “to boast or take pride in (Rom 3:27)”, to contrast man’s inclination to boast in himself with Paul’s right to boast in Christ.
The New Testament adds a personal dimension of joy. Joy often appears in reference to joy in God’s salvation, or the joy of eating and drinking and holding festival. Paul spoke of his “right to boast (Rom 3:27)”, which could be rephrased as “to take joy in.”
In scripture, joy can be expressed physically. Singing, shouting, noise, uproar, instruments (the pipe, harp, trumpet, flute, or stringed instrument), a loud voice, and words describing motion (dancing, clapping, leaping, or stamping the feet) are all associated with joyful action (Exodus 4:14).
The same place where it says don't post on youtube... We Christians (and I am speaking to myself as well) are so critical of the scripture when it comes to the acts of worship going on around us that we neglect sound doctrine in our own lives.
Personally, (totally not sriptual here), but if we can have that same excitement when it comes to sporting events why can't we rally for Christ?!? I understand where you're coming from, the mockery just seemed to be contagious is all.
clap and make melody in your hearts. Wait thats not in there is it? Can someone provide me some New Testament authority for the dance and mockery that is in this video. Just sayin'

But to answer your question---it doesn't.
