Great!!
I made a larger batch and baked them in Texas Muffin pans. I made like a roll. They are a little small in diameter but was still good.

I am not sure this recipe would hold up to the dunk in the egg/cream/cinnamon mixture. I do have french toast recipe that features unflavored pork rinds.  I haven't made it in awhile (pork rinds are expensive), but I remember the taste being very close...

hmmm I'll give it a shot ... I'll just try it with one half since my flax is kinda pricey. Im good, I started gettin some wackadoo comments on my videos so I stopped posting... You must be cut out for it, I however.. kinda freaked. LOL

I understand completely. I get my selection of food zealots and vegan meat is horrible people commenting, but I am fortunately free of the weirdo's. (Guys are fortunate that way.)

As for flax, I am also fortunate my grocery store normally carries golden flax seed for $2 a pound. You might check ebay for golden flax. South Dakota is brimming with flax now, and I knoew a few are going straight to consumers.

Thinned the mixture with a little half n half, added some splenda and made a waffle. Came out great. 2 extra carbs for the half n half. I topped it with my own LC strawberry topping.

Yes , I noticed the bottles too. That's good you support her no diet approach but she should be wiser about aspartame. I am on my way to the store to get some flax ... Can't hardly wait to make the bread and will let you know how was it the minute I bite into it :)

It's so good to make a sandwich with. half the recipe wouldn't be enough to cut in half for a bun, though. I really like the taste and texture of it.
