Finally found some milled flax seed in the organic section of my grocery. They actually have two other varients, one ia mixed with organic blueberry and the other organic rasphberry. In the end I chose the normal one. Can add the fruits in anyway if I wanted to

@ToniKelemen It is an acquired taste, but there are a number of MiM (Muffin in a Minute) recipes that are similar to this Flax Bread recipe. They add a number of ingredients to it to make variations like Pumpkin, etc.

Anyone have suggestions as to what you can add to make this more palatable?

@anamneses28 If it contains the yolks, it should work. The proteins in the yolk is what keeps the bread together. I would only ask why the egg replacement as most of the time the reason (cholesterol) is not applicable on a low carb diet.
How do you store the bread, I'm assuming the fridge, and what is the shelf life. Love, love the recipe! - Phil

@webmill20034 I normally eat mine with the same or next day, so I am not sure how long it would last. If I had to guess, it should last at least 3-5 days, but then it would dry out to be unusable.

Awesome. How would you get rid of the mild bitter taste?

@sassybreanna2009 I use the golden as opposed to brown flax, and the cinnamon topping I used in my mock danish video also helps.

Where are you getting 102 Calories from????
1 tbs of butter = 102 Cal
1 Egg = 70 Cal
2 tbs of Flax seed = 70 Cal
That makes 242 Cal, not 102. Right ??
Were you talking per slice????
How many slices are in one batch per ingredients ?????
By the way, the recipe is unreal. I also add some ground pumpkin and sunflower seeds, pop it in the toaster a little, from the micro-wave, to crispen it up , add some feta cheese, nuff said!!!!
Thank you.

@McSnern I believe the difference is due to different number on self-ground flax meal and the nutrition info number reflects 2 serving and is a per serving count. Those are good idea on additions, and my latest video a Pumpkin MiM is very similar to your recipe.
